Detailed route description

Saturday

Boarding between 11:30 and 13:00 in Zadar port, shortly after which we take bicycles in order to know the Zadar Riviera. From Zadar we drive across Kozin, Petrcane, small fishermen's place and resting place and Zaton to Nin. Nin, which is situated on one small islet and connected to land with two bridges was center of Croatian bishops and at one time even king's habitat. We specially recommend visiting the church of St. Cross from XI century called the smallest cathedral in the world. Our today's stage ends in port of tourist resort Zaton. After arriving to Zaton, our boat will take us to Mandre on the island of Pag. There we have dinner and spend the night . (approximately 19 km bycicle ride).

Sunday

After two good hours of boat sailing we anchor in Mandre port on the island of Pag. The island itself enchants by its opposites - on some places it is barren like surface of the Moon, somewhere it is rich in meadows of aromatic herbs where numerous sheep herds graze which milk is the raw bases for famous Pag cheese. After we sail to Pag, main town of the Southern part of the island where you can lunch in one of restaurants or taverns. We continue further to Povljane where our boat will be waiting for us. Dinner and overnight stay in Povljane. (approximately 33,5 km)

Monday

After breakfast we head for the island of Molat. Starting from the port of fisherman's village Molat we take our bicycles off the boat and ride to the village Zapuntel and return the same way on the boat again. During our ride we take a lunch break in one of the restaurants on the island. In the afternoon we can take a swim, in the evening we dine on boat and spend the night in Molat (approximately 21,4 km).

Tuesday

After breakfast we raise our anchor and head for Bozave on the Long Island. Long Island is indeed named correctly – it is 44 km long and often only several hundreds meter wide. We take our bicycles off the boat and ride to the lighthouse Veli Rat that marks the island's northwestern end. We ride along the beautiful bay Saharun, over Dragovo to Brbinje where we can have dinner in one of the restaurants (approximately 33 km).

Wednesday

After seeing the western part of the island the day before, today we get to know its southern part. Over Dragove, Znjana, Zmana and Zaglava we cycle to Sala, which is the island's capital. On our way there, we can enjoy in unforgettable views over untouched bays, nearby islands and land – when the weather is clear and sunny one can even see Italy on the horizon. In Sala we return our bicycles on deck and drive to National Park Kornati. There we can enjoy the peace and quiet of this 125 mostly uninhibited islands and islets that constitute the National Park. We take a swimming break. Four to five hours drive later, we reach a popular tourist destination Vodice. We can have dinner in one of the taverns, and later spend the night on boat (approximately 27,5 km).

Thursday

Today we'll get to know the coast from Vodice to the island of Murter – starting from Vodice we cycle through Tribunj to Tisno where a bridge leads us to the island of Murter. On the island we'll take a tour around – through Jezero, Murter, Betina and Plitka Vala after which, we'll be returning back to Tisno. Small town of Betina is considered to be the cradle of shipbuilding where there are several small private shipyards even today. We'll stop for lunch in one of the places on the island, while dinner will be served on boat. In the afternoon we head by boat to village Tkon situated in the south of the island of Pašman where we spend the night (approximately 30.0 km).

Friday

We get to see two further islands today – Pašman and Ugljan. We'll pass their entire length from North to South. We'll start from Tkon and continue over Pašman, Nevidjan, Dobropoljan and Zdrelc to the bridge that connects these two islands. We'll stop for lunch in Preko in one of the restaurants and later continue over Poljana, Sutoišćica and Lukoran to Ugljan and return again to Preko where our boat will be waiting for us. After boarding our bicycles on boat we head to Zadar again. We dine and stay the night in Zadar (approximately 46 km).
